It's nice to hear from a mom who has tried it. "The Great Organize" event is still happening around our house. Now I'm trying to harnass all my junk. <br />Blessings!mrschelleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02867787753721793067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-989932784982471958.post-22215839454732105802010-06-29T08:05:50.937-05:002010-06-29T08:05:50.937-05:00I know you don't know me, but I started follow...I know you don't know me, but I started following your blog awhile back because I find you interesting :) I have a 6-year-old boy and understand the massive amount of junk (I mean really cool special stuff) that they bring home and insist on keeping. A couple of things that I did to help organize his room-- 1) I bought a bunch of plastic "sweater boxes", clear plastic boxes a bit bigger than a shoebox and organized his toys into them. One box for Army men, another for construction toys, two for cars, etc. But we ended up with a bunch of extra little toys, McDonalds toys and whatnot. 2) I bought a hanging over-the-door shoe organizer (you know with all the little compartments, also clear plastic and now he has 32 little pockets to put all those little toys into. Granted, if he doesn't play with something for a long time I sneak it out and get rid of it, but it helps the window sill and top of the dresser stay a lot clearer having a place for everything. Anyway, just thought I would share in case it helps :)PinkPrincessAlihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08968653860994244866noreply@blogger.com
